 What i think this quote means is that when you learn to obey you will get used to it. You will no longer feel like its a challenge to obey. If you don't obey you will not succeed. Disobedience is only going to bring you down. By not obeying you will fail on being the best you can be. But if you obey you will be the best you can be. You will succeed. And you wont have to worry about failing at anything. Y
ou will also be a better person. It will make you feel happy because you are choosing the right. This will also change the way others see you as a person.

FREEDOM

        In my opinion what this quote means is that if you follow the rules and choose the right you will get what you want do what you want and be what you want with no borders. Also that if you are a person who obeys rules you will stay out of trouble and wont have any problems with your parents, the law, or anything in between. For example, if you choose to obey the law and not smoke then you will not even have to worry about getting caught by anyone. No police, no adults, no one at all. But, if you choose to disobey then your will be looking around constantly in hope of not getting caught. Same thing goes for drug dealers. Another example could be when you show responsibility to your parents ,by showing them that you are responsible this is proving to them that you can handle you own things. This is also showing them that you are worthy enough to be left alone without them being scared or afraid of you doing bad stuff like drugs. They should have the trust in you that you will choose the right at all times with or without their supervision. By them doing this they are releasing you and giving your your freedom. Then again if you choose to CTW you will get the opposite and wont be granted your freedom.

 After watching the video of Thomas S. Monson i learned that by disobeying to the smallest of rules you can en up in a really bad situation. for Monson when he was a kid he disobeyed his parents when they said "don't play with fire" and he lit up one match...just one match and that disobedient act could have caused lives and homes . if it wasn't for the other people in his household he and his friend could have caused a lot of trouble and all due to a small act of disobedience. this tough me that even the smallest things can affect your life drastically.

In my opinion to be obedient means to follow the rules. What i think this quote means is that in life we are put in many tests and basically everyday we have a new test. This test is to follow the rules. There will be consequences for those who fail to follow these rules and can lead to major problems . But by "obeying" you will never fail.when you follow the rules you will feel good course you know you are going to do good. Unlike when you fail to obey. For example our school has a strict rule of wearing uniform when not obeyed one person who chose to disobey will have detention during lunch or after school. But if they were to  obey this rule they would not have to worry about being called out or getting detention.
