true independence and freedom

what i think this quote means is that if you do what is right you will not have any borders to prevent you from doing anything you want. if you what is expected of you at home in regards to chores and you do them without getting mad about it then you will get the benefit of having your parents let you go out more often. also if you do good in school you will graduate and will not have to worry about not getting into the college you want. and last if you are going to school on time everyday then you wont have to deal with having detention after school.but if you are always late you will have to stay in school till the teacher lets you out as a punishment for getting tardy to class. also if you talk back to your parents you will notice that they will limit the things you do therefore limiting you"freedom". and lastly if you decide to not do anything in class and slack off then you will notice that you will not pass that class and it will prevent you from graduation.in my opinion i think that this is a really good quote because it has a strong meaning to it.how it can be used in real life:this quote can be used as a guide to help us understand that freedom is earned.i think that this quote should be taught to others to help them see the consequences there actions can have.

the truly good

this quote means that in order for you to be as great person you have too be a good person. this also means that if you do things that are wrong it will not make you great, even if all others think it was a great thing to do. this quote can also take us back to the the quote "“Right is right even if everyone is against it;and wrong is wrong even if everyone is for it." because if you are doing good things it will make you a great person and if you are doing bad things it will only make you bad. for example when one does drugs you will be known as a bad person and if then choose to not do drugs it will make others know them as bad people.

“I won’t cheat”-Dale Murphy

This is a good statement because it shows honesty and great and individual is. I think this statement is something i like to live by because i think that cheating is bad. If we cheat we will not get anywhere in life. Also if we cheat on tests it will not do us any good because we are basically cheating ourselves. For example when you are in school and you cheat on a test then you will only be hurting yourself in many ways. Some of these ways are that you will get dumber and you will not proof your true intelligence. Also you will risk getting caught by the teacher. And last, you will be worried about getting caught cheating.we all know that cheating is not a good thing yet so many people still do it. But many people also feel bad for cheating.also in sports when you cheat by taking drugs to advance your mobility it will eventually go from a bad thing to a good thing because cheating is bad. You can get in trouble for cheating and may even lose many things such as medals or awards. And in my opinion i think that it is really bad to cheat and that it won’t do you any good. I think that this statement has a really strong meaning to it and it will show others what harm they are doing to themselves by cheating on anything.

the sting of a scorpion

The Sting of The Scorpion is a short film the talks about a 7 year old boy who was camping with his parents. and talks about his experience and how he learned a very big lesson. when he went for a walk and he was feeling lazy to put on his shoes so he wore sandals on his walk. this small act of laziness landed him in the hospital. because when he was walking he got stung by a scorpion and it hurt him alot. although his parents had told him to put on his shoes when walking he did not listen and therefore he ended up in the hospital. this video has taught me to always liten to my parents when they tell me to do something because they dont say something just cuz they want to, they say it for a reson.

What this quote means is that the way we are is what matters the most. We all need to be the best we can be and not only focus on being the best. If we want to be the best we also need to show that our personality is the best. We learned that Dale Murphy was a good example of this quote because he would not only care about his career but also his family. Also he would make sure to call his family and see how they are doing. this shows how although he is famous he won't let that get in the way of him caring for his family. Also he make his children be the best and showed them how to be CTR children. I think this quote is really good because it has a lot of meaning to it. Also other people should know about dale and follow in his footsteps.

St. Patrick’s Day is now a day of celebration for irish culture with special foods, music, dancing, and people wearing  green.i was first celebrated as an observance of st. Patrick’s death of march 17 in the 17th century. The color worn on this day is green because it was made by an irish culture and because of the green clover.
