what MLK means by this is that intelligence comes from both character and knowledge. this is true because if you are a really smart person yet you are really self centered it will make others look at you in a bad way. when they look at you like this it will take away from what you know. instead of looking at you at a very smart or "Intelligent" person they will look at you as a person who does not care about anyone but himself. and when
