What this quote means is that having a good heart is what truly counts when it comes to your personality. I think this is true because when you are not kind and caring then what's the point of having a good looking face when your inside is routine. Also this means that you can have a lot of money and be the richest person alive but if you're mean and greedy then what does that money really do for you? And that having power will only make you bad it you do not have a good heart.
