9/11 memorials
White memorial is located on the
western side of the former world trade center where the twin towers used to be. It was designed by two architects, Michael Arad and Peter Walker. The
pools have 30-foot waterfalls and is the largest man-made waterfalls in North
America. The names of people who were killed in the 9/11 attacks in New York,
at the Pentagon, and on Flight 93, as well as in the 1993 bombing at the WTC,
are etched in bronze around the edges of the pools.
In my opinion i think that this is absolutely depressing and no one should have been put in anything so horrible like this is sad to see what people are capable of doing. When i first heard about this and what it is that happened on this memorable day i thought it was really sad and i feel really bad not for the people that died(rest in peace) but the there families because they are the once that have to deal with the passing of their family members. ITS TERRIBLE AND I WOULD NOT WANT TO BE PUT IN THEIR POSITION.
