What i think this means is that even if others do something it is not always the right thing to do. for example if a friend of yours invites you to a group gathering and they are doing drugs that does not mean you alway have to do them. This will not only keep you safe but it will make you a better person. Another example is that it does not matter how many people say its ok to do something,if it’s wrong then its wrong no matter what. In my opinion i think that this is a really good quote because it helps us rethink  about life.this also make us think twice about our actions. This also helps us become better people. what this quote means to me is that you should not put your goals last. If you want to succeed in life then you should not procrastinate or it will affect you. For example if you know you have a lot of homework, but you want to message your friend,you should always go with your homework because your grade depends on it and your future depends on your grade. You should always think about what your goals are and what activities you want to do at the moment and you will sere that your grade is way more important. You can always text your friends after you are done with your responsibilities. Another example for this quote would be when you are at school. If you know you may only make up an important quiz after school but you really want to go hang out with your friends you have to think about your education and where your grades will led you to. Your future is more important than your friendship. If “your friends” are really your friends then they will do nothing but understand that the reason you are not “kicking it with them” is because you have you focus on your education and keep your grades up. When you do this you will not only make you happy but it will also make your parents happy. You will also show others that you are responsible and a good student.this is also proving those who didn't believe in you wrong . this is what i think this quote is trying to state.

You are a phenomenal person when you are a CTR person. When you are not a CTR person you will not feel happy. You will not feel anywhere close to what if feels when you accomplish a goal. what this quote is trying to tell us or trying to make us comprehend is that if you want to do something or learn to do something then you have to do it and practice on it. for example if i want to learn how to play the violin really good, then i have to play the violin in order to get good at it. another example for this would be if i wanted to learn how to do perfect makeup look  i have to start doing makeup. if you don't attempt to do what it is that you want to do then you wont be able to get to what you want. one thing that i would really want to do is play drums. but i don't have any that i can practice on and therefore i  might not be able to play them. u will try my best to buy a drum set so i can begin to practice playing. by practicing ik that i will get better and better.
