What i think this quote is trying to tell us is that when you do something and you know it is not the right thing to do you will not feel good about taking on or making that decision . For example, when you cheat on a test and you know you did wrong by cheating.you will fell bad about it later because you are basically cheating yourself. By cheating you do not really get the grade you diverse and that is not good you will feel bad and ashamed on the inside. Another way that this quote can be plugged into our everyday life is when you do drugs. When you take drugs or stuff like that you will feel bad that you did it afterwards because now you have to deal with the consequences that come with the drugs. Wither its hurting your body or keeping is a secret from your parents of any adults you will not feel proud of yourself because you are doing bad and you will feel worried instead of happy.In my opinion this is what Ezra T.Benson means when he said this quote. A way i could apply this to my everyday life is by not doing drugs. Also by always being truthful to everyone. One last thing i can do is not lie and try my best.
