What i think this is trying to tell us is that the price is worth nothing if you are doing what's right.

For example if you are in a race and you are in the lead, but you see someone get hurt,you should stop and help that person out even if it means losing the race. This will make you a better person and it will change the way that others see you. This does not only make you feel good but you are also doing a good deed to one of your peers.  This quote is also telling us that honesty is one of the best things we can practice in our daily lives. When you are doing something and you messed up it’s your responsibility to be honest and tell the truth. No matter the consequence honesty is the best thing you can be.
