what i think this quote means is that you have to be a good person. in other word you need to make a good impression on others. if you are a person who is always in trouble you will make a bad name for yourself. when others hear your name you want them to think"oh him? hes a great guy". you never what to be known as the troublemaker or as the slaker. you have to be a very cheerful person. you also have to be a very helpful and kind person who always does good in school at home and anywhere else. this will make a really good name for you. you will never hear any negative things about you coming from any ones mouth.
