What he means by the first part of his quote is that if you know that something is not right and you know that they are doing wrong you should be the one to do right. You should not let others bad acts influence what it is that you do. Like people say."If your friend jumps off a bridge are you going to do the same?" Dont be a follower. Be a leader and you will succeed. Those who are doing bad are not going to succeed. What the second part of this quote means is that you have to lead the way. Also it means to not be afraid to stand out even if others think its weird. You know what is good for you and therefore you should do whats going to keep you on the right path.
