what this quote is trying to tell us or trying to make us comprehend is that if you want to do something or learn to do something then you have to do it and practice on it. for example if i want to learn how to play the violin really good, then i have to play the violin in order to get good at it. another example for this would be if i wanted to learn how to do perfect makeup look  i have to start doing makeup. if you don't attempt to do what it is that you want to do then you wont be able to get to what you want. one thing that i would really want to do is play drums. but i don't have any that i can practice on and therefore i  might not be able to play them. u will try my best to buy a drum set so i can begin to practice playing. by practicing ik that i will get better and better.
