Duties and responsibilities:All emergency medical technicians are responsible for rushing to the scene of crisis and can perform basic life-saving techniques, like:

• Patient assessment.

• Burn management.

• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Emergency birth assistance
• Extrication of patients from dangerous situations

Salary:from $30,000 to $40,000

Education:  A high school diploma or equivalent and a cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification are both mandatory requirements for most formal emergency medical technician education and training programs.

Demand:Emergencies, such as car crashes, natural disasters, and acts of violence, can create demand for EMTs and paramedics

Reflection:after reading and researching about the EMT i have seen that i might want to be one when i get out of high school.their job and what they do is not that hard although it is a really stressful job.
